We finally made it Florida and had our first meeting with the wedding planner today!  Despite the Florida heat, I couldn’t resist dabbling in a monochromatic scheme.  I paired my flowy black chiffon top with black skinnies for an unbelievably comfortable outfit that made my busy day oh so enjoyable.  I am also learning to love wearing multiple bracelets with outfits – especially those that need a little pizzazz. I can’t wait to try some more monochromatic outfits this fall and winter!

3.1 Phillip Lim for Target (for real)

As you all know, the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target line has absolutely FLOWN off the shelves.  I even think a majority of the handbags were completely sold out online within a few hours.  I have learned that living in a smaller suburb does have its advantages, though, because I was able to snag some of the bags!

I have to say that my favorite piece of clothing from the collection is the navy and green sweater.  Unfortunately, I did not buy it immediately and missed out on adding it to my closet (sad day).

So what do you think? Should I keep the weekender tote or not?

Happy Blog Birthday To Me!

Well, this is my first blog post on here, and let me just say that I am so ecstatic about it!  I’ve been waiting for a good time to start a style blog, and let me just say that there is no “good time” so I’m just jumping into it!

Here are a few things about me:

  • I’m getting married in March 2014
  • I am completely and totally in love with Sex and the City
  • I love quirky outfits and whimsical details
  • I’ve had a Vogue subscription since middle school
  • I just started my own vintage redesign business on Etsy
  • I love sea turtles!
  • Clutches are my new favorite handbag
  • Graphic design is quickly becoming one of my favorite things to do!

Anyway, my first post will just showcase one of my favorite vintage redesigns, which I love so much that I kept it instead of putting it in my store!

Honestly, I’m obsessed with the pin, which is HUGE, and totally makes the clutch unique.

What do you think?
